Printer Tech   Inside Support


Printer Tech
Experienced A+ certified technician with strong printer maintenance experience.
HP certification is a must. Strong background and familiarity with both line and forms
impact printers.

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a good work history
• Must be able to provide Datec customers with a professional service engagement
• Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Inside Support
Inside Support position for Datec Inc. Value Added Reseller of Technology equipment partnering with the Fortune 5000 companies in the US.

• Develop and maintain existing relationships and customers and continue and enhance
communication through email/phone and messenging.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Vendor partners.
• Interact with other departments to swiftly resolve customer concerns.
• Backup other team members as needed.
• Support marketing efforts promoting Datec as the total solution partner.
• Attend training classes as offered or directed.
• Work as team to build territory, customer, and publisher relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

• Supports and controls product procurement activity for specifically assigned internal Account
Managers.
• Generates Purchase Orders.
• Facilitate config discrepancies with Product Specialist and Vendor/Distributor.
• Communicate product availability and estimated delivery time frames.
• Verify Quote, Booked Deal, and Purchase Order match prior to submitting PO to vendor.
• Monitor the completion of the integration process.
• Confirm vendor on target with intended ship date.
• Obtain 3 freight carrier quotes and schedule truck when Forsythe is controlling the shipment.
• Control deal escalation in accordance with department policy.
• Confirm product delivered and obtain POD from carrier where applicable.
• Communicate progression of order from submission of PO to vendor, through delivery to
internal and external customers appropriately.
• Provides direct customer service support for procurement related issue resolution.
• Monitoring order status daily and maintain informational updates in our systems.
• Obtain invoices from vendors in a timely manner, communicate with distribution and direct
partners.
• Reconcile invoiced amount against purchase orders and authorize for payment.
• Engage management on all RMA requests and jointly work through to closure.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School degree. Some College preferred, 3-5 years customer service experience in technology field. Proven track record of accomplishments and results. Independent self-starter, effective team player, ability to multitask, detail oriented, strong organizational skills to help the organization achieve its objectives. Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and email communication skills necessary to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers.

Must be willing to work extended hours if needed to meet customer objectives.
Basic MS Office product knowledge.
